Eight Years of Creating Opportunities: Svitolina Tennis Camp x UKRSIBBANK Brings Together a New Generation of Ukrainian Tennis Players

Svitolina Tennis Camp 2026 x UKRSIBBANK has concluded in Lviv. The annual educational and sports program by the Svitolina Foundation is designed for talented young Ukrainian tennis players under the age of 12.
From August 21 to 30, the camp brought together 20 promising athletes from across Ukraine. For the eighth consecutive year, participants had the opportunity to improve their athletic skills and gain knowledge essential for their continued development in tennis.
Over the course of ten days, the young athletes trained intensively on court, working on their technique, endurance, and tactical thinking, while also taking part in general physical conditioning sessions. The program was designed to support their all-round development — not only as tennis players, but also as individuals.
Special attention was given to psychological preparation. Working with a psychologist, the children explored their emotions, learned to better understand themselves, manage pressure, and build inner resilience. Art therapy was also part of the program, giving participants an opportunity to express their feelings through creativity and recover after intensive training sessions.
An important part of this year’s program was comprehensive medical testing at the Ukrainian Sports Clinic. The young tennis players underwent a biomechanical assessment using sensor technology, as well as a clinical examination by an orthopedic specialist.
This approach helps young athletes better understand their bodies and make their training process both more effective and safer.
A special guest at this year’s camp was Ukrainian tennis player Sergiy Stakhovsky. He joined the participants for an on-court training session, shared insights from his professional career, and later met with them for an open conversation. The young athletes had the opportunity to ask questions, hear stories from the world of professional tennis, and gain inspiration for their future development.
The ten-day program concluded with internal competitions, a final recap, and an awards ceremony for the participants.
“Svitolina Tennis Camp is a space where children can not only improve their game, but also gain the knowledge and experience they need for a long and healthy journey in sport. It is important for us to help young tennis players develop resilience, responsibility, teamwork, and confidence in their own abilities. We are grateful to our partners and the entire team whose support has enabled this program to open new opportunities for children for the eighth consecutive year,” said Anna Popovchenko, Director of the Svitolina Foundation.
Svitolina Tennis Camp was the first program launched by the Svitolina Foundation when it began its work in 2019. Over the past eight years, more than 160 young tennis players have participated in the program, many of whom now successfully represent Ukraine at national and international competitions.
Svitolina Tennis Camp 2026 was made possible with the support of the program’s main partner, UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group, which helps create new opportunities for the development of the next generation of Ukrainian athletes.
UNI FORCE Tennis Club, a long-standing partner of the Foundation, provided modern infrastructure and professional conditions for the training program.
The Svitolina Foundation also extends its gratitude to the program partners — Truskavetska, Ukrainian Sports Clinic, adidas, Diadem, and Bob Snail — for their contribution to the camp and their support of young Ukrainian tennis players.
