Masterclass and Inspirational Talk with Elina Svitolina and Sergiy Stakhovsky to Take Place in Lviv

A new format of the Svitolina Foundation program will take place on April 5 at the LEOLAND sports and entertainment complex. The masterclass is organized for tennis players aged 6 to 16. The children will be trained by Ukraine’s top tennis player, Elina Svitolina, and tennis player Sergiy Stakhovsky, who is currently a master sergeant at the "A" Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine. In addition to on-court training, the renowned athletes will hold an inspirational talk with the participants.
This training is another initiative under the Svitolina Foundation program, aimed at developing tennis in the regions of Ukraine and fostering new Ukrainian leaders.
"The new event format resonates deeply with me. We have already held many tennis masterclasses, but when talking with children, I felt that it wasn’t enough. They want not only to spend time on the court but also to communicate, share their victories and failures, ask questions that concern them, and find a path to personal motivation," commented Elina Svitolina on the event.
Registration for the event is open via the link. The number of spots is limited.
It should be noted that the star tennis players are not hosting events at the LEOSPORT tennis club for the first time. In the past, they have organized not only masterclasses but also an annual camp for talented tennis players from across the country.
Elina Svitolina is the most successful athlete in the history of Ukrainian tennis, a former world No. 3 in the WTA (Women's Tennis Association) rankings. Elina has won 17 WTA singles titles, including the 2018 WTA Finals, and secured Ukraine's first-ever Olympic tennis medal (bronze) at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics (held in 2021).
Sergiy Stakhovsky is the holder of four ATP singles titles and three ATP doubles titles. In 2022, he joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces and is now a master sergeant at the "A" Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine.
