The master class for Ukrainian tennis players from 6 to 18 years old, organized by Elina Svitolina Foundation, will be held on February 9, 2023. The guests on the court will be Elina Svitolina, the founder of the Foundation and the best Ukrainian tennis player, and Serhiy Stakhovsky – one of Ukraine’s most famous tennis players.

The prominent partner of the event is Sport Villa Grays: the master class will be held based on this modern sports complex, which meets the current safety requirements, particularly the bomb shelter.

“I am happy that I am going to Ukraine to communicate with children and support them in this extremely difficult time, – says Elina Svitolina. – I can only imagine what kind of difficulties and tragic events young tennis players faced and still face. I hope this master class will inspire them to new victories and achievements. Besides, I am trying to remind them of the importance of sports – it is clear that less attention is paid to it now. However, I am convinced that even during the war, we should do everything possible to raise the yellow and blue flag in international sports arenas as often as possible after our victories”.

“We have to make efforts so that children have the opportunity to look into the future and dream, – Stakhovsky is convinced. – That is why Elina and I conceived this workshop – so that young people could see that dreams can come true. Now it is hard for everybody, but most of all, perhaps, for the children brutally torn from their lives by the war. We want to give them a holiday and charge them with positive emotions”.

The organizers will inform by February 4 who will be invited to the event.
