On July 17, Kyiv hosted the first event of the sports and educational program ONE POINT: Game. Mind. Future., jointly organized by Svitolina Foundation and Lytvyn Foundation.

The tournament brought together 85 young tennis players aged 10 to 14 from across Ukraine. In total, the event welcomed more than 200 participants, including children, parents, guests, and partners. Throughout the day, the young athletes competed on the court and took part in an open discussion with renowned Ukrainian athletes.

ONE POINT: Game. Mind. Future. is a joint initiative of Svitolina Foundation, founded by Elina Svitolina, and Lytvyn Foundation, established by Ukrainian digital entrepreneur and philanthropist Volodymyr Lytvyn. Together, the organizations aim to create new opportunities for young people through sport and education.

"I know how important it is to have people who believe in you at the very beginning of your athletic journey. That's why we created ONE POINT — so children could not only compete, but also ask questions, find inspiration, and receive support. It was incredibly meaningful for me to talk to these young athletes, hear what matters to them, and learn about their dreams. I hope ONE POINT becomes the moment that helps every child believe in themselves," said Elina Svitolina.

The winner of the inaugural event was 11-year-old Anastasiia Bukhanets from Kotsiubynske, Kyiv region. She received the tournament's top prize — a UAH 100,000 Dream Grant, provided by Lytvyn Foundation, to support her goals in sport, education, or personal development.

ONE POINT has a mission that is deeply personal to me: to help young people believe in their potential, set ambitious goals, and pursue them with determination. One match, one decision, one victory can become the beginning of great achievements," said Volodymyr Lytvyn, Founder of Lytvyn Foundation.

The first ONE POINT event featured a single-elimination tennis tournament, where boys and girls competed together in one tournament draw.

The second part of the event was a public talk titled "The Champion's Journey," featuring World No. 8 Elina Svitolina and former Ukrainian No. 1 Sergiy Stakhovsky. The athletes shared insights from their professional careers, discussed discipline, overcoming setbacks, and answered questions from children, parents, and media representatives.

Lytvyn Foundation invests in Ukraine's future by supporting youth education, technological innovation, and small business development.

Svitolina Foundation is committed to creating opportunities for future generations by using sport as a powerful tool for positive and lasting social change.

The event marked the launch of the ONE POINT series, which will continue in cities across Ukraine, creating new opportunities for young athletes nationwide.
